Nine images of the Venetian Carnival festival. The photographs detailing the traditional Venetian carnival costumes were shot against the stunning background of Venice, the world's most enchanting city. The Venetians were the first to refine the art of 'Carnival' as a festival every February to ward off the wintertime blues. Carnival was adopted in other cultures as a prelude to the period of Lent.
Includes a matching gift box, and an illustrated storycard explaining the history of Carnival in English and Italian. Produced in collaboration with the Toursim office of the Mayor of Venice.
