Nine photos of the beautiful St. Paul's Cathedral, London. A fine example of English Baroque architecture. Originally very austere, further projects to embellish the interior over the last 100 years include beautiful golden mosaics of angels.
Christopher Wren would never have even had the opportunity to design and build St Paul's Cathedral, would it not have been for the Great Fire of London that laid waste to so many houses of worship. The Church of England assigned many projects to architects and builders to replace these fundemental points of reference for worshippers and their communities.
Includes a matching gift box and illustrated storycard with historic descriptions of each image. Produced in collaboration with St. Paul's Cathedral.
